Bat Bridge
Austin is nicknamed Bat City for a reason, and the Congress Avenue Bridge is the center of it all. A 1980’s renovation of the bridge made it an ideal migratory stop for Mexican Free-Tailed Bats, who now reside there in numbers up to 1.5 million.
